Today’s Verse:

“Have you not known? Have you not heard? The LORD is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He does not faint or grow weary; his understanding is unsearchable.” –Isaiah 40:28

Today’s Encouragement:

God has done miracles in my life. From helping me get through a challenging childhood with parents that were addicted to drugs and alcohol to clearing a path for me to come to Him and give Him my life. He has given me purpose. He has given me direction, meaningful work, and a life I do not deserve. 

Every blessing I have is from God. 

God is good and He wants the best for you and me. Romans 8:28 says that “in all things, God works for the good…” We must believe that. Stop and look back at your life. God has gotten you to this point! You made it this far and He will not abandon you. He walks with you every step of the way.

So I want to encourage you to draw close to Him today. The Bible says that if we “Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. (James 4:8) God is always reaching out, but are we? I want to encourage you to put your faith in Him. God never promised to give us the  perfect life free of problems, but He did promise to be with us every step of the way.

Today’s Prayer:

Father God, thank you for everything you have done in my life and are continuing to do. Thank you for the things I see and even the things I do not. Thank you for every blessing, every lesson, and every point of direction you give me. Help me to always keep a heart of thankfulness. Everything I have is from you. I’m eternally grateful. In Jesus' name, amen.
